What is the FUN@Schools Chess in Schools Program?
The FUN@Schools program is a structured, school-integrated chess in schools coaching program by FUN Chess Classes, designed to introduce chess to students through fun, engaging, and educational formats during or after school hours.
Which age group is suitable for Chess in Schools?
Our programs are tailored for children from age 3 and above, covering pre-primary, primary, middle school, and even high school. Lessons are age-appropriate and adapted to the students’ learning levels.
What are the benefits of teaching chess in schools?
Chess improves concentration, critical thinking, memory, and problem-solving skills. It also helps build patience, decision-making, and sportsmanship—skills that translate into academic and life success.
Are the classes online or offline?
We offer both offline (in-school) sessions and online classes. Schools can choose the format that best suits their schedule and infrastructure. Hybrid models are also available.
Do students need any prior experience in chess?
Not at all! Our program is designed for absolute beginners as well as students who already play chess. We have multiple levels of learning and students are grouped accordingly.
What materials do you provide for school chess classes?
We provide chess boards, workbooks, worksheets, certificates, and access to our online practice platform. Schools also get support for organizing internal tournaments and events.
Can our school host a chess summer or winter camp?
